Whether you are interested in helping new students transition to UBC, becoming an academic coach, improving your intercultural communication skills, supporting students in your faculty, or educating your peers about social justice, wellness, research, or career development, there is a Peer Program that’s right for you!
UBC Peer Programs take part in a coordinated recruitment, selection and training process. This means that almost all of the 13 programs will recruit members at the same time and applicants to all programs will take part in a similar application process (although there are slight differences between programs).
The online application for 2011 will be available at the beginning of Term II – January 4, 2011 on this page. Continue visiting this website for updates on the application process. If you’re interested in finding out more information about Peer Programs or other involvement opportunities at UBC, visit us at the Centre for Student Involvement – CSI (located in the main floor of Brock Hall) and speak to the CSI Assistant. You can also e-mail your questions to peer.programs@ubc.ca.
