Project S.E.E.N (Student Education and Entertainment Network) is a video based outreach program, spear-headed by UBC Peer Programs, Peer Programs Executive Council and Healthy Minds at UBC. This student driven initiative aims to enhance student experiences at UBC through educational videos that promote health, well-being, balance and student success.
Project SEEN is a video project launched in November 2010 to much success. Our primary focus is on promoting student well-being in various aspects and our secondary focus is to promote peer programs and other campus community groups as resources for students in creating a balanced wellness wheel.
The project continues this year and offers an opportunity for groups to script, direct, film, and edit a video that will be shown to the wider UBC student population. A professional videographer will be hired to assist in editing and post-production work for all videos accepted.
Project SEEN is now accepting video submission forms from all Peer Programs members. At this time, the SEEN Working Group is able to assist up to 3 groups in writing, filming and editing their Project SEEN videos. The deadline to apply for this support is now extended to Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
1. Review Project SEEN guidelines. (Project SEEN Video Guidelines 2011-2012)
2. Fill out the SUBMISSION FORM before Nov. 16th, 2011.
3. Receive suggestions/approval from SEEN committee. You will be notified in early December if your video will be able to receive support from a videographer. If not, don’t be discouraged, we will work with your group to discuss further possible collaborations.
