I have so many aspirations within me that I wish to accomplish, but there are so many that I do not know where to begin. Also, there is a high probability that 20% of my aspirations are shared by 80% of other people that have aspirations. This would seem like a crazy geek fact, but most of the time it is true. It is called Pareto’s 80/20 rule in Economics. However, I do not wish to talk about Pareto. I feel he has 80% of the attention he needs in the Marketing World. I am here to share my aspirations and hopefully connect them with yours.

If I could, I surely would…
• Call my family every day.
• Listen to someone who wants to share their concerns.
• Eat ice-cream with a friend.
• Plant a tree (or more) in the back-yard.
• Finish that term paper in time.
• Talk to all the students in class (200+ people).
• Compost my food.
• Go for a run through the trails in the parks.
• Volunteer in UBC.
• Volunteer in that new community I haven’t tried.
• Get a job that I have a passion for.

These are some of many aspirations I have. Some have been fulfilled, others not yet. However, 80% of you should agree, that 20% of your aspirations are up there!
