POWER AND PRIVILEGE

CANCELLED!

Date: April 1

Time: 12-1 PM

Place: Boardroom – Centre for Student Involvement

Power and Privilege will explore a deeper understanding of the unequal distribution of resources, opportunities, and power, how it is afforded and denied to people in Canada based on their race, class, gender, ethnicity, religion, etc. We will explore the topic of power and privilege from the perspective that the oppression is the enemy, not the individual who was born in to a privileged identity group, and that the engagement of individuals on both sides of the privilege line is critical to interrupting and ending that oppression.

Register here by March 31 at 4 PM.
