How to Run a Workshop (In-Person Workshop)

When: Wednesday, October 19th, 5:00-7:00 pm

Where: Global Lounge

During this workshop, you will learn:

  • Who, what, why and where – you, what you want to achieve with your session and who your audience is!
  • The nitty gritty – hands-on practical stuff that you’ll be able to apply in your design and delivery.
  • Building a great session – how to build a framework and learning outcomes for each section and suggestions and tools on how to have a successful experience from start to finish!
  • Choose your own adventure – pick from the skills you want to develop: public speaking, creative ways to lead a discussion and effective debriefing.

The workshop is free and there will be food provided.
Please RSVP to global.lounge@ubc.ca by October 14th.

Facilitated by the Global Lounge.
