Sarah Dekerf – Liaison Rep
Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a fourth year student in the Faculty of Arts studying Political Science with a minor in Environment and Society. For the past two years at UBC I have been involved with Peer Programs as an Equity Ambassador –an amazing experience which helped me learn and grow as a leader. In my final year at UBC I am excited to be a member of the newest Peer Program- Sustainability Ambassadors! I look forward to bridging my passion for equity and environmental issues to this position. Outside of my life at UBC, you can find me running, swimming, practicing yoga, or reading a great novel.
Rebekah Parker – Project Rep
Hello there! My name is Rebekah and I’m heading into my 5th year of Interdisciplinary Studies. My degree has focused on Human geography, Sociology and Women Studies, which ties in perfectly with the Sustainability Ambassadors program that I’m excited to be a part of this year. I’m passionate about environmental and social justice issues, and love to travel (ask me about my exchange to New Zealand!). I’m excited to be part of Peer Programs for this year, and can’t wait to get to know everyone.
